It is not just the food that is good, though I would suggest trying a version of Rendang, but the way they serve it to you. Dishes are first served on dish-plates and brought right to your table, then you pick them or you can continue enjoy the feast and pay later. We really enjoyed the food. If you are trying them out, try to come early morning, it is hot and savoury. John

Before the cruise enters Glodok during the day, stop by to eat here, it's delicious, cheap, clean at Trio Minang Glodok but the waiters are Javanese

Love the armor this little shop. Very nostalgic feel is found in the air once you walk in. The uncle that is serving is super friendly even though he doesn’t really speak English. He recommended the Ayam chicken (not the fried one) and it is super tasty. The ijo is fantastic here. Full of flavours. The hot tea served washed down the spices nicely.

This Padang restaurant has been around since the 70s. The food is delicious, the spices are strong, and the prices are affordable. Plus, this restaurant is open early in the morning.

This is right on the hook... Next to Citiwalk Gajah Mada... It actually tastes good, but everything feels a bit lacking... The curry sauce is delicious, sweet, but not savory enough... The eggplant is also plain... No flavor whatsoever... The cassava is also a bit tough and difficult to chew... The green chilies are also quite tasty. It's okay for those who happen to be hungry and passing by... Total bill for 2 portions = 44k
